NFL Team By Team Judnalysis Part XXXII

Our final Judnalysis takes us to where the Judz' heart lies, the world-class city of Houston, Texas and those red, white and navy clad warriors of the gridiron known simply as the Texans. With tackling dummy David Carr off in Carolina, the Texans have brought in perennial backup and UVA star, Matt Schaub to take over the reins of Gary Kubiak's offense. The Texans also upgraded the running back position by signing Ahman Green in the offseason. The front seven of the defense could be among the best with returning Defensive ROY DeMeco Ryans and Mario Williams, along with first round pick, the manboy out of Louisville, Amobi Okoye. Word out of Houston is that they have also traded for safety Peter Boulware, only giving up backup D-lineman Jason Babin in return. The Texans 3rd round pick Jacoby Jones exploded in the preseason as both a return man and a wide receiver, who should complement Andre Johnson quite nicely. The major questionmarks for the Texans are the same ones they have been pressed with since day 1, offensive line and secondary. If these units could be at worst just above the league average, then this team has the potential to make some noise. Unfortunately, to get to that point, the improvements will have had to be quite dramatic.
