This movie was absolutely hilarious. Steve Carrell was spectacular playing the lead role and each and every one of the supporting cast were magnificent, especially Paul Rudd. This movie also had one of the best endings of any movie this year which I will not spoil here. The actors, story, script, and direction were all top notch. This was not only a great comedy, but a great movie overall. If you are looking to just laugh straight through for an hour and a half, go see this movie. I would even venture to say that this movie was better and funnier than Wedding Crashers, which itself was the funniest movie of the year. Kudos to all involved in this movie.

The Brothers Grimm - movie review
In typical Terry Gilliam fashion, this film was stunningly beautiful, though a somewhat simple storyline. Matt Damon and Heath Ledger did admirable jobs as the title characters and as usual, Peter Stormare was simply awesome. What was really cool about this film was how Gilliam used a handful of fairy tales such as Little Red Riding Hood and Hansel & Gretel as smaller, understated characters in the context of the larger film. As many other critics have stated, the movie was a little too dark for children, but I disagree that it was too childish for adults. As mentioned above, the story itself was a tad simplistic, but then again, isn't that what trye fairly tales are all about. I love Gilliam's work and this was no different.
