NFL Team By Team Judnalysis Part XXXI
The Jacksonville Jaguars. Well, they released incumbent a week before the season started and have named former East Carolina qb David Garrard as their starter. Maurice Jones-Drew and Fred Taylor will play rb by committee, at least until Taylor gets injured or Mo continues to dominate like last season. This team still has no wide receivers and a quarterback who is more of a runner than a passer. The defense is consistently underrated and will carry this team. Just like Carolina and the J E T S, Jets, Jets, Jets, this team is woefully inconsistent always playing up to better competition and down to worse competition. I do not see this team in the playoffs.
