Huge congrats to Craig Biggio on passing the 3,000 hit milestone last night and doing so on a night where he had 5 hits and the Stros actually won. I believe Biggs was a first ballot Hall of Famer without this achievement and this just solidifies it. Two win gold gloves and be an all-star at two different positions at the major league level is amazing and we must remember that he played most of his career in the pitcher-friendly Astrodome. Now that this task has been completed, lean into a few more pitches and let's get that that HBP record. Then, ride off into the sunset, see your fellow Killer B in Cooperstown and give Burke a chance to play second base.
Further congrats to the Frank Thomas on passing the 500 home run mark and doing so without being the subject of steroid allegations. Way to go Big Hurt! You can enter the Hall along with Biggs.
