In fiscal year 2007, I was able to catch 32 movies in theaters (on par with the 34 in 2006) and a slew of others on dvd. This year had a handful of great films and a plethora of crap. We saw a summer filled with three-quels (Spiderman, Shrek, Ocean's XX, Bourne, Rush Hour) and the typical sequels. My top 10 from last year was as follows starting from #1 (The Departed, The Good Shepherd, Borat, Clerks II, Thank You For Smoking, Blood Diamond, Inside Man, Casino Royale, Running Scared and V For Vendetta). Now onto this year's list of Top 10 and Bottom 5 and as always, feel free to leave comments if you disagree:
