NFL Team By Team Judnalysis Part XXII
On our second stop to the great state of New Jersey, we visit those pesky New York Jets. This is quite possibly the hardest team to peg because when you think they will win, they lose and vice versa. The Jets are the Jack Kevorkian of any NFL Suicide Pools. If you want to be eliminated, feel free and pick or pick against the J E T S, Jets, Jets, Jets because either way, you will be waiting for everyone else to be eliminated before you can play again. HC Eric Mangini is a year older and wiser. A Belichick protege, Mangini took a team with no running back in a rebuilding year to the playoffs. Chad Pennington is starting again and we are all wondering when his arm will fall off again. The big free agent acquisition was Thomas Jones from Chicago, who was last seen platooning with Cedric Benson. The defense is headed up again by big man Jonathan Vilma, but will be an average unit like the past few years. I think this team will win at least 8 and maybe 10, but the playoffs may be just out of reach.
