NFL Team By Team Judnalysis Part XIV
Our next stop in our west coast swing is the Denver Broncos. This is the first time in a number of years where Coach Shanahan has a legitimate running back that has proven himself instead of a no-name that he turns into a 1,000 yard rusher. Of course, I am not sure if he has ever had such a virile running back either (9 kids with 9 different women, just wow). However, this team will only go as far as 2nd year qb (and Vandy grad) Jay Cutler will take them. He showed promise in his few starts last year replacing Jake Plummer, but this is his team now. The defense is still anchored by Champ Bailey and should be a decent unit. Because of the lack of talent in the rest of the division, the Broncos should easily land in second place in the AFC West and have a good shot at returning to the playoffs.
