Well, I have just returned from Montreal and all I can say is what an amazing city. I spent the weekend there for my good friend Wayne and Martine's wedding. It was fascinating walking around and hearing people speaking French and then switching to English at the drop of a hat upon me acting really dumb (then again, it really wasn't an act). I got to meet some amazing people there and made two new really good friends: Molson (Dry and Export) and Labatt Bleue. Granted, I met them a few times before, but that was in the States after they had been imported and thus lost some of the flavor. My only regret is that I could not spend more time there and taking in more of the culture and food. This was my first time out of the US and am very much looking forward to visiting again. Canada is nothing like South Park makes it out to be (i.e. there were no flopping heads and beaty eyes). There money is cool too.
Congrats Wayne and Martine! It was a beautiful wedding even though I had no clue what was going on when the deacon was speaking French.
